Zombies vs Unicorns and Fallout.

A quick update because I just want to. A very quick one.


It's a question as old as time itself: which is better, the zombie or the unicorn? In this anthology, edited by Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier (unicorn and zombie, respectively), strong arguments are made for both sides in the form of short stories. Half of the stories portray the strengths--for good and evil--of unicorns and half show the good (and really, really bad-ass) side of zombies. I want this book so badly, please!  It's not a typical story book but I know I want it so bad. I saw this at Book Xcess but I only have 30 MYR left in my purse that I could used. I had to pick between Fallout or Zombies vs Unicorns. Those two books are so lovelovelove that I couldn't decide so I let my cousins decided for me. They picked Fallout. I didn't regret buying Fallout, though but I regret for not bringing some extra money. Where am I going to find it again?!

Some people will probably say that's a boring book or whatever it is but I'm the one who is going to read it so I don't care what people say. I just want this book! I don't know since when did I like zombies and unicorns (to be honest, I still don't) but, that book is just soooooo cool! Argh!

This book is so amazing. I haven't read it, yet but I know it's going to be an awesome book. Just look at the inside of the book:

PMR.

6 more days til school starts. 

I'm not happy to go back to school. I'm kind of stressed because next year is going to be my PMR (it's kind of like a big exam for the junior secondary school students) year. I know those who had already took PMR will probably say, "It's JUST PMR. Chill!" Screw people who say that. When you were in form 3, you were nervous for your PMR, too... unless you really didn't care, though. I kind of told some people I don't care about PMR. "What ever is going to happen next year, will happen. I'm not going to care." That's what I said, BEFORE. I lied, ok. I saw my seniors tweeted they got 8A's and they were so happy... I'm so jealous. Argh

 My sisters got flying colors for their PMR so, my mum thought I can get excellent results for my PMR, too. She puts her expectations too high for me to reach. I don't know if I can get straight A's. I have eight subjects and I suck at some of them especially Math. I rarely got an A. I just hate everything that has to do with numbers and counting. Sigh. But, I promise I will try my best to get an A. I'll try... hopefully.

I don't want to talk much about PMR. It's still 2012. I have a FEW more days to chill before shit will get real.

Diary of A Wimpy Kid.

I've been reading Diary of A Wimpy Kid books since Wednesday. I borrowed them from one of my classmates. He didn't believe that I actually want to read those kind of books because I usually read romance, teen fiction, horror, stuffs like that. I knew these books a few years ago but I thought they were boring. The covers of the books weren't attractive and the synopsis, too. Yeah, I judge a book by its cover, most of the time.

After watching the movie which is also has the title Diary of A Wimpy Kid, it wasn't as bad as I thought. I give 3 out of 5 stars. Even after I watched the movie, I still didn't think reading the books would be worth my time. When the Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules came out, I watched it and that's when I started wanting to read the books. I want to save my money so I borrowed my friend's.

My friend borrowed me all of his Diary of A Wimpy Kid collection books. He has six of the books. Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, Diary of A Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw, Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, Diary of A Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth, Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever. Diary of A Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw is with my other friend but the rest are with me. It annoys me actually when I have to skip reading one of the books. A LOT. That's why I've been thinking whether or not to continue reading Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. I've finished the first two books and I'm going to read all of these books again after I finish reading all of them. I just want to waste my time since I have nothing to do after exam.








By the way, THE BOOKS ARE MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN THE MOVIES. ALWAYS. In the movies, they skipped a lot of fun parts and they changed some of the stories. Example, in the Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules movie, Greg and Rodrick had quite a good time together during the party but in the book, Greg was locked in the basement all night and he didn't even call Rowley for help. You should try to read the books and watch the movies then compare them which one is better just like I did.

Oh, and I want this book so badly. This book actually came out first before Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days but this isn't a storybook. It's a book for you to write like Greg did. I found this book at Times@Suria Sabah before but I didn't bring any money so I hope I bring enough money the next time I find this book.

I don't know why but I found this cute. Haha


P/S: This post is supposed to be about how much I love love love Vampire Diaries but I don't know why it turned to be Diary of A Wimpy Kid post.

  • Have meaningful small talks.
  • Have useless arguments and then kiss and make up.
  • Fall in love with each other more and more everyday.
